On this particular day ..
Martin Poppelwell
8 Oct 2025 — 8 Nov 2025
A show of new paintings from Martin Poppelwell.
Things accumulate each day, presenting themselves as options to take ideas from, actually most ‘things’ are best ignored. Over the past months Martin has been drawing incessantly, bending and meshing the atoms of daily life into patterns and sequences of line, colour, information, diagram and stuff. The exhibition sort of announces a point in time where this is shown, laid up and bared. This combination of work while mindful of our present, in particular aims for a type of beauty that given time reveals a unique-ish logic of its very own.
